don’t mind me i need to bitch and moan about my writing again to work some things out
opened up my dm yuri draft and was like ohhhh goodddd i hate this which is sad because i don’t want to hate it. i want to love it like my baby. basically it started as a conceptual think but then i started writing scenes and THEN i discussed the concepts with my buddy sam which gave me the inspiration to write more scenes and so now it’s like conceptual at the beginning and then a normal fanfic for the rest. so it goes super tonally off kilter. so i tried to fix that and then i started making my own lore inconsistent. fucked up. so now i’ve got inconsistent lore i need to decide on and a like combo narrative and conceptual fic. would love to blend them together somehow but i don’t know. unless i just inject the conceptual parts in-between. not sure though. not sure. do you guys have any fanfics that are written in a ~different~ style i could emulate for this. send recs

Will this be the night? (ALSO IN A03)
A random piece of online advertising unleashes some movie memories of a Summer afternoon in 1932
1.5 Ks Fanfic + Pictures Inside. Part of the Never let us lose what we have gained series (AO3) Silly drabble born from my love of classic movies... that ended up not having anything to do with classic movies.
BROOKLYN'S KING'S THEATRE
Poster for Cary Grant's Retrospective. Printed paper 2025.
A poster for the upcoming month long celebration of the movies of Cary Grant to be held in Brooklyn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bucky is not expecting a vivid memory of the past to jump at him from a piece of online location-targeted promotion popping on his phone as he and Steve are wandering around the neighborhood on a random Friday.
But the 21st century works in mysterious ways and Google is kindly inviting him to check “Cary Grant: A Celebration”, a month-long chronological retrospective of all his movies taking place at a nearby hipster cinema starting… in half an hour.
Tumblr media
He beams as a long string of memories of the both of them in different afternoons and movies plays in his head; how they counted the cents for the admission price, and how Bucky learned to sneak into the movie every time that did not add up to two full tickets.
“Buck, you’ve been smiling at your phone in silence for a whole minute,” Steve interrupts his daydreaming. “Should I be jealous? Worried?”
“Sorry,” he answers, still smiling about the memories. “I think I’m leaving you for Google, they see inside my one hundred years old soul; But I might give you another chance if you don’t mind a change of plans for the afternoon.”
“Lead the way, but can you give me some heads up?” Steve chuckles, more than used to Bucky’s ways.
He takes Steve’s hand to direct them towards the movie theatre and thinks about how much information he wants to share.
Although he is the one who still relies on the comfort of 30s and 40s movies whereas Steve keeps getting bolder with his options, Steve has always loved Cary Grant and Bucky thinks he’s going to appreciate his choice since this particular movie has a history (sad history, maybe) for them, so he debates on whether to tell him or not.
“We are going to the movies. But the real ones, not that shit on Netflix you keep choosing,” he settles for half-disclosure.
“Damn, mister life in black and white strikes again. Embrace the 21st century, Barnes, I think you’ll like it!”, Steve laughs.
“Hey, I embrace it more than you do! At least I look the part of a mid-thirties man from it instead of a fifty-year-old hiding in fucking khakis. Albeit a very hot one, I’ll give you that.”
They both laugh. It’s not the first time these remarks fly between them and having a routine, running jokes, and running pet peeves is very soothing after everything they have gone through.
They’re getting closer to the cinema now, and Bucky can already see the Billboard announcing the retrospective and a small queue forming upfront. He takes a side look at Steve to see if he has noticed and he can certainly tell that his curiosity has peaked.
“Surprise! Call it a win-win, it might be up my alley, but you used to love Cary Grant movies,” Bucky smiles as they reach their place in the queue and glance at the program for the afternoon.
‘This is the Night (1932)’, the poster says, ‘Cary Grant's feature film debut on the big screen’
Bucky is deep in nostalgia, remembering a summer day of 32 when they were waiting in line for the same film and how the evening turned out, but when he looks in search of his partner’s reaction, it’s not what he expected at all.
“Steve, you ok?” he asks, worried at seeing Steve frozen in place.
Steve nods. His whole face is deep red, but at least he is responsive. He looks ashamed and Bucky is shifting from worried to curious.
“Jesus, this movie,…” he chuckles now.
“You seem to remember, then. I thought you might.”
It was not a happy memory: Steve had felt really ill halfway through, looking white as a sheet of paper and about to die on Bucky. They had to leave the unfinished movie and run home, as per Steve’s request. But as far as Bucky remembers, nothing to be ashamed of.
“Why are you acting weird? Oh my god, Steven, are you allergic to this movie?”
The silence before Steve answers is a little too long and the queue moves forward.
“Shit, this is not easy to say and I’m sorry in advance.”
“Duly noted, but could you try to explain? I’m lost and I didn’t expect a full-on confession of something to be sorry about when I decided to follow Google’s intelligent advice to an unfinished movie. I just thought it was a good excuse for a change of plans. And kind of closure.”
Steve takes a breath and starts talking.
“I wasn’t honest with you, Buck. Back then…” he stops, searching for words, nervously musing on his beard. “Ah, I cannot believe this hasn’t come up at some point, but there it goes. I absolutely lied to you that day: I wasn’t sick or half dying and I am very very guilty of using my poor health to run away from that place and that movie, but I did the only thingI could think of.”
Bucky is at a loss for words, he’s still deciding if he is angry, curious, or somewhere in between.
“But… but you were feverish and white as a ghost and you said you had palpitations!”
Steve seems to think for a moment again and the bastard laughs so loud they get a curious look from the people behind. And taking advantage of the queue moving up again, he gets really really close to Bucky who honestly thinks he’s going to try to kiss himself out of the situation since it’s a bulletproof strategy.
But he doesn’t: He goes for Bucky’s ear instead, and whispers.
“I had a boner like you wouldn’t believe.”
Bucky gasps loudly totally taken aback while Steve takes a step back and looks at him in the eye more amused and hungry than ashamed, but still blushing.
“But hey, not all lies! I was somehow sick. And pale since my blood was… otherwise occupied. And I was barely 14!”
Bucky laughs at the dork. His dork. But the information is still making its way into his brain.
“Oh my God,” he exclaims as it starts to settle, “You piece of shit, you pulled the poor sick child card when you were just plain horny. I was worried to my bones as we run to your home. Shame on you Rogers!”
“Me? It was your fucking fault! Yours and Cary Grant’s and your stupid grins and stupid chins, those clefts!” he’s screaming in whispers so Steve Rogers’ teenage boner doesn’t make it to the news, but he’s talking as if he was pronouncing an important speech to the UN, “What was a 14-year-old in the fucking 30s popping one upon seeing an actor who kind of looked like a very tall version of his very male best friend to do?”
He is about to say something, but Steve literally covers his mouth with one hand giving Bucky no other option but to stick his tongue and lick the palm.
“Gross, Buck. I’m not done!”, he dries his hand on Buckys’ shirt before he goes on. “I’m not done because as I was still processing all that, you kept brushing your goddamned hand with mine when you went for popcorn! Over and over and over. It was torture. I have palpitations now just thinking about it.”
Bucky full-on laughs. One of those real ones that come more and more lately and that he honestly thought he would never get to experience again.
They have reached the box office, so he doesn’t push it further. For now.
“Two tickets for `This is the Night´, please.” Bucky smiles at the box-office guy. “He is paying, tho. I paid last time we tried to see this one and he didn’t have the decency to stay until the end.”
He actually feels like a teen as Steve takes his hand into the theatre, as he very intentionally buys popcorn to share, and as they start full-on making out on their seats during the commercials once the lights are out.
“Wanna know another secret, Buck?” Steve whispers a few minutes later, eyes on the starting movie as he brushes Bucky’s hand with intention over the popcorn bucket. His flustered face and recently kissed lips bathed by dancing lights and shadows coming from the screen. “It’s a good thing we were already together in ‘38 when “Bringing up baby” came out because I was able to plan ahead and lure you into that memorable window fuck at our old apartment before the show, or we would have totally missed one of our favorite movies, too.”
Bucky hates Steve with the force of the universe. Or maybe not, but he’s not playing clean.
“Raincheck on the movie?” he manages to whisper back as he drives Steve’s hand to his already noticeable hard-on. Two can play this game.
“Oh, poor Buck. Do you have palpitations” Steve chuckles, lips wet on Bucky’s ear and gripping harder on his bulge instead of letting go. “Was that the memory of the window fuck? Or all the making out? Tell me so I don’t do it again.”
“You are a punk, Steve Rogers,” Bucky answers before standing up to leave, closely followed by a smiling Steve.

“Doubts” - Lumity Fanfic
This was a short drabble I banged out in a few days so please forgive me if it’s a little shaky or rushed. It has been quite a while since I finished a fanfic
----
Amity presses her thumbs together, leaning forward with her elbows on her desk. A textbook sits beside her, untouched for the past three discussion topics, and a pencil rests idly between her fingers. The abomination professor drones on at the front of the room. Were it any other day, her attention would be on him as she diligently took her notes, but not now.
To her right, Luz carefully draws more glyphs in her notepad for future use. Her tongue sticks out the corner of her mouth, and her eyebrows draw together as she finishes another. Amity thinks it’s the cutest thing she’s ever seen. She watches Luz from the corner of her eye and tries her best to make her staring look like anything else. She counts her lucky stars that the human girl is so fixated on her drawings.
“Miss Blight!” the professor barks. Amity snaps upright and drops her pencil off the side of her desk. The entire class turns to look at her, Luz included, and her face becomes hotter than the surface of the sun. “Is my lecture not interesting enough to warrant your attention?”
Amity swallows hard. “No, sir. I’m sorry.”
The teacher narrows his eyes. “See me after class.”
A chorus of oohs goes up from the class. Luz stares at her quizzically. Amity sets fire to the paper of the boy closest to her and effectively silences all of them.
She forces her eyes to stay forward for the rest of the period. While everyone else leaves, she clutches her books like a shield in front of her and goes to face the professor.
He raises an eyebrow at her. She clenches her jaw. “You haven’t been paying attention in class lately,” he says. “What is going on with you? You’re always a model student.”
“I know, I’m sorry,” she says. “I’ve just been distracted.”
“Yes, I’ve noticed. You’re not very subtle, Miss Blight.”
Her face goes red. “Y-You have?”
“Yes, I have.” He pauses, and Amity’s stomach turns over. “You’re nervous about the exam on Friday!”
Amity feels a weight lift off her shoulders. “Right! The exam! Yes, I am very nervous about that.”
The professor laughs. “With your grades, you don’t have to be. Study like you normally do and you’ll do excellent. As long as you pay attention for the next few days, that is.”
“I will. Thank you.”
Amity spins on her heel and all but runs out of the classroom. Pinching the bridge of her nose, she lets go of a heavy breath. She can’t imagine the embarrassment if her teacher of all people had outed her crush.
She looks up and is greeted with wide brown eyes. “Amity!”
Amity squeaks and falls on her backside. “Can you stop doing that?!” she snaps.
Luz flashes a beautiful bashful smile, grabbing Amity’s scattered books and offering a hand. “Sorry about that,” she laughs. The sound lifts Amity’s heart. “I just wanted to wait for you. Getting held after class is usually my deal.”
Amity sighs. “It’s been a long day.” She reaches for her books.
Luz pulls back. “I’ll carry them for you! Sorry again for scaring you.”
Turning aside, Amity hides her red face. “It’s… fine. Thanks, Luz.”
“Of course!”
Amity starts down the hall with Luz bouncing along beside her. She keeps her head down, hiding her blush and avoiding Luz’s little glances in her direction.
“Hey, so,” Luz begins, “I was looking around some of the old parts of the library and I found a book that I think could help me with finding more glyphs. I don’t really understand some of it, so I was wondering if maybe you could help me look over it?”
“Oh, um, sure! I just need to make up an excuse for my parents.”
“Oh yeah. Owl house is forbidden. Right.” Luz stops in front of Amity, their faces inches apart. Amity’s heart jumps into her throat. “You will come over though?”
“Sure.”
You know it’s not like you hope. Why would it be?
“Awesome! I have to go meet Gus and Willow, but I’ll see you tonight!”
“Y-Yeah…”
Amity takes her books numbly and watches Luz take off down the hall. Her lips curl into a smile as her heart flutters, but the feeling only lasts for a moment. She shakes her head to clear her thoughts and heads off to her next class.
---
Sitting in her window, Amity pulls her legs to her chest and rests her head on her knees. The day had continued to crept by, and she has yet to find an excuse to sneak away to the owl house. It’s not like she can tell them she’s going to visit the wanted criminal and the human witch.
Amity takes a breath and steels her resolve. A simple illusion spell shouldn’t be too hard, just enough for her to sneak out and sneak back in unnoticed. She runs headfirst into Edric and Emira standing outside her door.
“Going somewhere, Mittens?” Edric chirps.
“Study group,” Amity says, “if you two would get out of my way.”
“Study with who?” Emira asks.
“Friends.”
“Friends?”
“Yes, friends.”
Edric grins. “It’s the human, isn’t it?”
Amity bristles, going bright red as she looks down. The twins share a look. She rubs the back of her neck and swallows her pride. “Will you two please, y’know, cover for me? I just can’t-”
“Mittens, we get it.” Emira’s smug grin softens. “If you wanted to go hang out with your girlfriend, you could’ve just said so. I mean, study group? You couldn’t come up with something better?”
“S-She’s not my girlfriend!” Amity splutters.
“With the way you two were at Grom? Could have fooled me.”
“That wasn’t, I mean, we were just… ugh, shut up! And we are studying. I’m helping her understand a textbook.” She sighs and bites the inside of her cheek. “She doesn’t know, okay? And if either of you tell her, I’m going to drown you both!”
Edric puts his hands up. “Hey, we’re not that cruel!”
Emira smirks. “And it’s not like we need to. If she hasn’t caught on by now, I don’t think she would believe us if we spelled it in twenty foot tall letters.”
“Yeah, you’re not exactly subtle.”
Amity sighs. “That’s the second time I’ve been told that today.”
If she hasn’t noticed by now, she doesn’t want to.
“We’re not surprised.” Edric ruffles her hair and nudges her down the hall. “We’ll cover.”
“Be home before nine,” Emira adds.
“Thanks, guys.”
Amity gives them a grateful smile before hurrying out of the mansion. She does her best to keep out of sight until the owl house comes into view. Thoughts of Luz pop into her head, from her cheerful grin to her sparkling eyes to her excessive affection. She thinks of Luz’s hands on her waist as she catches her and spins her around. She thinks of pressing her face to Luz’s neck as she carries her to the healer’s. Her mind conjures the thought of Luz holding onto her, hands cupping her face as her chest tightens and their lips meet and-
Amity stumbles.
You’re making a fool of yourself.
Shaking her head, she squashes her racing heart and approaches the house. She somehow manages to forget about the bird tube until it flies out of the door at her.
“Hiiii Amity! Luz is inside!”
Amity squawks and falls back. Growling, she lifts a leg to kick the stupid guardian in the face.
“Hooty! Stop it!” Luz waves him away, and he retreats back into the door. Flashing that sparkling smile, she takes Amity’s hand and pulls her to her feet. “Sorry about him.”
“I told you, I’m going to destroy it the next time it talks to me,” Amity snarls.
Luz laughs nervously and takes Amity’s hands in hers, stopping her from casting any spells. Amity’s face grows hot as she avoids those wide puppy dog eyes. “Yeah, how about we save the destruction for another day?”
“Next time you’re not stopping me.”
“Heard. Come on!”
Luz pulls her inside and leads her to her bedroom. She plops down on a mat in the middle of the floor. Amity sits beside her.
“I still don’t understand how you sleep here,” she remarks.
“It’s really not that bad,” Luz says. She opens a dusty book with a cracked cover in her lap. “I’m guessing it doesn’t compare to Blight Mansion, though.”
Amity shrugs. “You’d be surprised.”
Luz hums, drumming her fingers on the book. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.”
“Is your family the reason you work so hard to be top student?”
Amity sighs and pulls her knees up to her chest. “Can we talk about something else?”
“Yeah.” Luz bumps their shoulders together and offers a gentle smile. “I’ve got you.”
Amity smiles. “So, this is the book you wanted to show me?”
“Oh, yeah!” She brushes off the cover and opens it to a brittle yellow page marked with a folded up drawing of King. “So, I was looking it over and found all these weird drawings in it, but I can’t really understand the captions. This one sort of looks like the glyph for fire magic but it doesn’t quite fit, and this one I tried to draw but it didn’t do anything and the picture is faded so maybe I just didn’t…”
Amity can’t quite focus as Luz goes on. She finds herself staring as Luz’s eyes shine, alight with curiosity and excitement that lifts Amity’s heart. Resting her head on her knees, she watches Luz ramble, not listening in the slightest until Luz stops.
“Hey, Amity, you listening?”
“Hm? Oh! Sorry, I got distracted.”
“Man, you’re spacey today.”
“A little.”
Luz scoots closer. Amity freezes. Planting one hand behind the green haired girl, Luz leans over her shoulder and balances the book on their legs pressed together. “This is the one I couldn’t get. I tried drawing it but it didn’t do anything.”
“What does it do?”
“I don’t know.”
“You’re going to blow yourself up. Again.”
“Maybe!”
Amity laughs and looks at the page. “I can’t really tell. Maybe try drawing in more lines?”
“I don’t know if that will work, though. I don’t think they’ll do anything if I don’t draw them exactly right.”
“How do you draw them?”
“Here! I’ll show you.” Discarding the book, she grabs her pad and pencil and places that on Amity’s knee instead. “This is the light glyph that I showed you the first time. You just draw the circle and make a few shapes, add these lines, and once it’s done, you press it.”
She taps the drawing. The paper curls up into a ball of light that rises into the air above them. Amity watches, awestruck despite the simplicity of the spell. Luz sets the pencil on her leg and draws her back in.
“You try.”
“Okay.”
Amity draws the circle and makes the shapes, adds the lines and then erases them as Luz’s correction. She presses one finger into the center of the drawing. It glows and rises between them. Luz cups the light in her hand like she’s holding the sun, right beside Amity’s heart, and lifts it up to her. It casts gentle shadows across her face.
She grins. “Magic.”
Their eyes lock. Amity’s mouth outpaces her mind and readies her tongue before she can stop it. “Hey, Luz?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you ever feel like you’re doing the wrong thing?”
Her grin disappears. Amity wishes she had kept her mouth shut. Luz lowers her head, but she doesn’t pull away. “I do. A lot. I… don’t really fit in, in the human world. They think I’m weird. I’m not actually supposed to be here. My mom thinks I’m at a camp that will teach me how to act normal.”
“Humans have that?”
“Yeah. I don’t know how I’m going to explain all this to her when I go back and I haven’t changed like she wants me to.”
“You don’t have to.”
“I do have to go back eventually, Amity. I don’t want to, but I can’t disappear on her once the summer is over.”
Amity’s stomach drops.
You aren’t from the same world. You always forget that.
“I meant you don’t have to change.”
Luz looks up. Their faces are inches apart. Amity cages the butterflies in her stomach and takes a deep breath.
“I like you the way you are. I wouldn’t ever want you to change.”
Luz doesn’t respond. She presses her face against Amity’s shoulder and sighs. Amity wraps an arm around her shoulders. She closes her eyes and buries her face in Luz’s hair, trying to keep her composure as the human girl shifts until she’s practically laying on Amity’s chest.
“I like you, too,” Luz mumbles. “You’re my best friend.”
Ouch.
“You’re mine, too.” Amity holds her tighter. “You fit in here.”
“Amity.” Luz untangles from their embrace and lifts her head. “Do you ever feel like you’re going the wrong way?”
Amity avoids Luz’s eyes. “I go where I’m supposed to. Right or wrong doesn’t matter.”
“But what if you could choose?”
Luz catches Amity’s gaze and holds it. Everything feels too warm between them, and Amity struggles to align her thoughts. She could hardly function with Luz simply smiling at her, and now here they are, inches apart with Luz refusing to let her look away.
“I would want to come here.”
“I want that, too.”
Without warning, Luz cups Amity’s cheek and presses their lips together. Amity bristles, eyes wide and disbelieving before she finally relaxes into the kiss. Her hands find Luz’s waist as Luz tangles her fingers in her hair.
They stay close together when they break apart. Amity watches Luz with her eyes half closed as she holds her tight.
“I like you,” Luz says. “I want to stay here with you. I don’t want to go.”
Amity tilts her head. Her face burns red as she presses another gentle peck to Luz’s lips. “You don’t have to.”
“Yes, I do.” Luz closes her eyes. “This is a bad idea, isn’t it?”
“Maybe.”
She’ll only have to leave in the end.
“Do you think we can just stay here for now? No more picking where we have to go?”
You know that.
“Okay.”
You’ll only get hurt.
Amity focuses on the girl in her arms, fears and paths and goodbyes and magic set aside for the moment. Luz wraps her arms around Amity’s neck and pulls them as close together as possible. Amity’s face burns. Her heart hammers away in her chest and drowns out all the doubts in her mind. She kisses the top of Luz’s head, and the human girl giggles against her chest. She grins. She can barely hear the nagging voice in the back of her mind, but still, she closes her eyes and prays.
Please, don’t let this hurt.

Hii! Could you write a one or two chaptered fanfic on Bakugou x Mina? Scenarios: she is drunk and he takes care of her/ she pushes him out of the way and gets injured instead/ she starts flirting as a joke but then he flirts back and oh god does she like it and kisses him.
Absolutely!
Bubblegum
A Bakugou x Mina Drabble
Warnings: alcohol use, cursing
Tumblr media
Chapter 1...........
They weren’t friends. Well, they weren’t exactly not friends, either. Mina always found friends, whether she wanted to find them or not.
To her, a stranger was just a friend she hadn’t met yet.
And that was sort of how she viewed the spiky blond who sat in front of her in class.
He didn’t talk much. When he did speak, he could be heard throughout the whole damn school building, and it was usually because Kirishima had pulled a dumb prank on him.
Mina often held back her giggles, not wanting to upset him further, but one day she made a fatal mistake of chuckling to herself.
“Do ya fuckin’ think this is funny?” he growled, glaring down at her. She straighened her back, cocking an eyebrow.
“Sure do!” she smiled sweetly. He huffed, sitting back down, to the suprise of literally everyone who noticed.
Usually, Bakugo would have spat and sputtered at the comeback, but this time, he simply backed down. That just wasn’t like him.
What Mina never knew was how her attitude completely broke him. Fuck, he wished that he could get along with people like she did. She didn’t even have to try; all she had to do was be her happy go lucky self and people just...flocked to her.
Even him.
He hated to admit defeat, and rarely did, if ever. But he couldn’t deny that he definately had a crush on the bubblegum pink girl.
He just wished he knew how to tell her.
Could he even tell her?
Friday Night, weeks later........
Denki’s parents were out of town, and being the crackhead that he is, threw a spontaneous party at his house. Of course, everyone in class 1A was invited. Mina was one of the first people to show up, and she helped get the snacks and drinks together.
Sero giggled as he walked into the kitchen, a bag in his hand. It was clinking, as if it were filled with glass bottles.
“Whatcha got there?” she inquired, pointing towards the mysterious bag.
He stopped laughing for a moment, flashing Denki a confused look.
“Uhh, I thought it was just gonna be the boys, man. Can...we even trust her?” Sero asked, gesturing towards her.
“Hey! I’m right here, you know! And yeah, you can trust me. Come on, you gotta tell me what it is now!” She frowned, crossing her arms. Sero sighed, pulling out the bottles.  Alcohol.
She stared wide eyed, but excited. She’d never drank anything before, but it sure did look fun! She took a bottle of clear liquid in her hand, opening it up.
“Whoa, there! You won’t like it like that!” Denki warned. She pouted, closing it back.
“Well, fine then. I’m gonna make a punch or something then. Should I make some for everyone or?” she asked, grabbing what she needed from the cupboards.
“uh...sure. Just don’t tell Midoriya, he’s definately a little snitch,” Sero mumbled.
“Ya think so?” she asked, standing up on the counter to reach for some sugar.
--------------------------------
The punch bowl was the centerpiece of the table. People came in and out, grabbing a cupful for themselves or a friend. Mina was on her third glass by the time everyone showed up.
Bakugo, on the other hand, skipped on the punch. He was content with sitting himself in a corner, nodding to the music and stealing glances at Mina. She didn’t even notice. She was much too busy laughing at tiktoks with Uraraka.
He sighed, sipping on a glass of soda.
Soon, the party began to wind down as the punch kicked in. Some people retreated to the bedrooms (for various reasons), while others crashed on the couch or on the floor.
Bakugo turned the music down as he stood up. He got into a semi-heated debate with a drunken Sero about something stupid, and lost track of Mina. He shrugged it off. Maybe she just went home.
He headed upstairs to the bathroom to take a quick piss before heading back to his dorm. He didn’t feel like cleaning up after the people who carelessly threw their trash on the floor, and he didn’t care to babysit anyone who got too drunk to stand.
As he approached the door, he heard something.
Someone was in there, retching and lightly crying.
Usually in situations like this, he would’ve just minded his business and walked away.
But his gut told him that he just...couldn’t do that. Not this time.
He gently knocked on the door. No response. He went ahead and tried to open it. To his suprise, it was unlocked.
His eyes widened as he realized who it was behind that door.
Mina.
Her makeup was ruined, running down her cheeks in streaks. She wiped her mouth quickly as she noticed him walk in.
He didn’t say anything. He just stared for a moment.
She slurred, “Do you...do ya think this is fucking funny? huh?”
He shook his head.
She began to cry again, covering her face. He grabbed a washcloth, wetting it under icy cold water in the sink before placing it on the back of her neck. She flinched at the sudden sensation.
“How much did’ja have to drink?”
“6,” she muttered, hovering over the toilet bowl.
“Dumbass...” he scoffed, rubbing her back.
She heaved, emptying the contents of her stomach into the toilet. She groaned, holding her stomach.
“It’ll go away...just...” he tried his best to comfort her, but he genuinely did not know how to.
“shut up. just...ugh!” she spat, sitting up. He backed away from her a little bit. She glared at him, gritting her teeth. The rag was thrown across the bathroom, hitting the wall with a smack.
“I’m just tryna fuckin help you? What’s your problem?” He spat. She stood up. Moonlight shined on her back through the large frosted window that faced beautiful woods.
“m-m...my problem? you...ya...you’ve gotta be kidding, right?” she stammered out. Her knees shook and her stomach churned from the pressure of her standing up, but she didn’t care.
“You...you’re the one with the fuckin issues here, you weirdo...why do you even want....wanna help me?? You hate me!” she yelled. Tears pricked at the back of her eyes.
“Mina...I...I don’t...” Bakugo argued, taking a step towards her. She took a step back.
“Get...go away...” she warned.
Bakugo took another step, trying to get her away from the window.
But it was too late.
The floor was wet and slick, and she was barely able to stand as it was.  Those two factors mixed together meant that she lost her footing. Fast.
Her petite body crashed through the window backwards. Shattered glass rained down to earth as she screamed. Luckily, Uraraka and Hatsume were on their way out of the house and towards their uber when she was falling. Uraraka wasn’t able to stop her fall, as she hadn’t touched her before it happened. The two girls sreamed, rushing towards Mina and hurridly calling 911. Hatsume looked up to see Bakugo at the window.
He could only stare down at her limp body, wide eyed and in shock.
“This is just too far! Why? Why?!” Hatsume screeched. Uraraka couldn’t even bring herself to look at him.
---------------------
When Mina woke up, she was surrounded by all of her closest friends.
Everyone was throwing questions at her. A police officer stood in the corner, notebook in hand.
“Did he do it on purpose?” asked one person.
Another questioned, “Was he drunk?”
“Is this the first time he’s hit you?” a third quizzed.
She answered none of these questions. All she could do was stare at the ceiling in silence.
“Where is he?” she asked, her voice stoic and monotone. Everyone was silent at that.
“He’s...not here.” Uraraka answered finally. Mina nodded, wiping away a stray tear.
“Thanks for showing up, guys...but, can you give me some time? Please?” she requested meekly.
“I’ll buy lunch,” Tenya offered, breaking the silence that filled the room.
Soon, Mina was alone.
She sighed, inspecting the room she was in. White. Sterile. Boring. All except for a lovely boquet sat on the table next to her bed. She picked it up, looking at each flower. Most were pink, matching her skin, but others were yellow and orange. She smiled at the cute colors.
She turned the vase around, not seeing any note or indication of who they were from.
“Like em?” a voice asked from the doorway. Mina jumped, looking up.
It was Bakugo.
“Yeah,” is all she could manage to say. She cursed herself for not saying some nasty comback.
He approached the bed, sitting gently on the edge. He was silent for a good while, looking at the floor.
“Don’t worry, I didn’t tell the cops that you pushed me out of the window or anything,” she scowled, placing the vase back onto the table and crossing her arms.
He shook his head, sighing deeply.
“Thats...not it...”
She scoffed.
“You hate me, don’t you?” Bakugo spat.
“What?”
“Just be honest with me. Please.”
She sat, wideeyed and dumbfounded for a good few seconds. She always thought he was the one who hated her.
“I...” she scrunched up her face, thinking of what to say.
But she knew words wouldn’t cut it at this point.
She sat up in the bed. He looked over at her as she leaned forward, gently taking his cheek in her hand.
His face began to heat up. He looked away.  However, his attention was brought back to her when she placed her other hand on his cheek and brought him in for a kiss.

any advice to someone who is starting a writing blog also how do you continue writing when you dont know how to continue the story or have writers block
Oooh this is a big question! First off, I hope you have fun starting a writing blog! I remember being so nervous to start mine. If you check out the tag #pwyl; writing tips (I’ll tag it to this post) you’ll find some previously shared tips but here’s some I can think of just now:
Write small. Don’t feel you need to start off with a series on your blog. I started with drabbles. My goal back then was to write 300-500 words a day at least 5 times a week, just because I wanted to write so badly. I remember I started my blog just before going away to a city up north for 2 days and on the plane ride home I was writing because I was so inspired haha. Anyway, the point is, if you write lots of little stories, then you can post regularly. The more active you are, the easier it can be to gain attention.
Ensure you’re tagging properly. The first 5 tags are searchable, the rest just go to your blog’s tagging system. So make sure the first 5 count. I always use “idol” fanfic / fiction / scenarios (or drabbles if it’s a short piece) / and the genre or au for my first five tags unless I’m using a network tag.
Which brings me onto the next one, join a network. Make a masterlist post first - even if you only have one story posted - and then check out networks that correlate to your preferred fanbase you’d like to get noticed by. You can generally find one for the group(s) you focus on or be more general based. If you’re writing for kpop, some good general networks are @kwritersworld and @kdiarynet ... but you’ll have to check if they’re open for new members. They tend to open applications regularly. By joining a network, even if the tagging searches on Tumblr fail you, your stories will be shared and reach your potential audience more easily.
Hit up other writers if you feel comfortable doing so. I can’t speak for others, but most of the writers I follow/support are supportive of each other and will help newbie writers out by reblogging their content. Don’t feel discouraged if some don’t, that might just be how they run their blog and that’s totally okay! But it’s worth a shot, in my opinion.
If you can, or want to that is, make it known what to expect from your blog. If you can post every Friday, let it be known. That way, people will be able to anticipate your blog’s updates. This isn’t necessary, but I did find it helped me tremendously when I made my schedule known.
This one is helpful for getting exposure and also for ideas - look for writing prompt blogs. That way you can tag the blog for credit and your story might be reblogged by that place, or if you use their specific tagging system, readers can find it. It’s also an awesome experience... you can get so inspired by some of the prompts out there. I know if I’m ever feeling stuck, I will go peruse a list of prompts and generally a story idea will stick out to me. Equally, and a bit of self-promoting here, you can try out the prompts on @challengingwords ... we share a prompt every fortnight and reblog all those who tag us in their stories - kpop related or not (so long as the tagging system works, ho hum).
As for writer’s block advice: when it comes to not knowing how to continue a story, the first thing I do is close the document and leave it for a week. Try writing something else so you feel like you’re being successful still. The more you focus on the problem, the more it becomes one. So I like to change focus for a bit, and allow myself to remove the negativity. If I come back to the story and I still cannot think of how to add to it, and I’ve reread the whole thing to see if I’m missing something, chances are, you need to ask yourself some big questions. Are you still envisioning things for the story? Can you see the end? Do you still love your characters? Did the last scene inspire you or do you not feel anything towards it? Generally, if you change something about what you last did, or step out the journey towards what you can see backwards on how you can get there, you should be able to find inspiration to continue it. If you can’t, then maybe now is not the time for the story and it’s best you put it on hiatus and either come back to it or let it go. I have unfinished stories that I know I’ll never finish and that’s okay. I focus on the ones I know I can finish instead. If you feel comfortable sharing your story during the process of writing it with a friend, do so. They might give insight that you can’t see due to being the creator. I often turn to my best friend/beta reader and complain about how difficult a scene or idea is being, and just talking it out with her can have me go “nevermind, I know what to do now!” or her advice can help me carry on.
I hope this helps and best of luck, anon. I do have a side-blog (shameless promotion pt2) @prettywordsyouwrite where I share tips and advice about writing when I feel the need to! Maybe there you will find some extra help.

Season 2 q&a and overall reaction
Jonny stealing everyone's names XD
Is martin going to be ok!? I also need to know!
He said no;-;
ok ya, no one's gonna be ok.
Ya, he must do sooo much research.
Ya, except for "fatigue" lol.
Eyyy the mechanisms!!
What's the red string brigade? Ok, I guess a group of fans theorizing about stuff.
Oh ok so someone else did martins poetry. Ooh, there's more martin poetry out there! *grabby hands*
Ok ya, Alex clarifying that Jon isn't stupid he just makes poor decisions. Probably if he'd paused and thought about it (like I did lol, I had to go do some stuff in the middle of that ep and thought about it a whole bunch lol) instead of immediately going out and buying an axe and further isolating himself and panicking immediately he probably would have figured it out. This is why it's bad to panic in a crisis guys.
Eyyy! Jonny's parents voiced Gertrude and Leitner! That's so cool.
XD Jonny grumbling about having to work with his parents.
Hmm, I hadn't really thought of Gertrude being like a mother figure in the story? She just seems very cut-throat I guess from what Leitner said. Idk so far I've been very suspicious of her. Especially since that one statement where her photo burned a whole bunch of people or something. She just seems very shady...
Alex chortling over Jonny's pain. XD
Side note, Every time there's a q&a I just can't stop noticing Jonny's voice going in and out of archivist range? Like most of the time I'm just listening along and then he'll say a sentence a bit grumblier and my brains immediately like "ARCHIVIST! That's THE ARCHIVIST!!"
Martin would be the last one alive in Friday the 13th! It's official!
(Is it bad that this gives me hope)
Jon likes Nonfiction, documentaries, and probably collects something just a little bit weird. *writes down for use in potential fics*
also while im at it I remember jon saying he dislikes coffee at one point,  and so many people have him liking coffee in their fics! This has been your daily reminder of that fact because ever since then it keeps bugging me lol. (But also do whatever u want.)
Alex's spluttering sounds so much like Martin.
Yes!! I want to hear jon sing!! Yes! Musical Episode When!!?
Ah yes yes yes! All the characters are so unique!!? How does he do it!!
Ya, it being in audio format sometimes makes it hard to understand what's happening in the live-action bits. (Live-action is the wrong word but u know what I mean.)
Oh ok ya, how he mentioned he got a pipe was quite clever I didn't realize that that's why he mentioned it at all.
Ooh, there's a manga where there's something similar to Michael? I'll have to look that up later...
XD Alex and Jonny arguing about apples.
Ok, so all the statements we're hearing ARE for reals. I kinda assumed but good to have it confirmed.
They used to hang out together!!? Work function curry nights!! ;-;
Ya Ya! Who made the leitners!?
"You are assuming a book needs to be written" ...ok then. (but it has to have been created somehow??? Did they just spring fully formed from the powers? why? And why take the form of books?)
Alex's mischievous laugh about whether jon has friends *trembles in fear*
Yes!! Micheal is so good! I'm so happy they love him too! Yesyes! His laugh!
Ah Yes!! Mary kaey was so creepy!
XD yes yes yes fatigue was written on zero sleep, I knew it!
Akskdjdkd I love them so much. Also, I've looked up Michaels voice actor luke booys and he does some other horrory type sketches n stuff and I kiiinda want to do a little animatic with some of those but it's Michael like annoying some poor soul lost in his halls... I think that'd be fun. I wonder if anyone's done that yet? If so someone send me the links I neeeed iiitt :3
Season 2 summary:
Uuuuu ya so this season was really good. I kinda listened to it in bursts of about ten episodes every couple weeks and then have been saving up the reactions to post later so these are usually going up about a week or so after I actually listened to the episode just FYI.
I also do have a lot of spoilers cause I can't keep myself away from fanfic and people don't always tag for spoilers and I kiiinda wana know what's coming beforehand anyway? Idk it's hard man I get very stressed about what might happen and then also listening to too much at a time is too spooky for my poor little heart so I gotta read the less spooky fanfic to fulfill the hyperfixation you see. (If anyone has fanfic with spoilers only up to season 2 that'd be great btw)
Anyway, I try not to take spoiler type stuff into account unless I'm just so sure of it I can't really not acknowledge that I know about it.
Also, can I just talk about Michael for a minute?? Cause he's such a unique character? And I guess maybe there are other characters like him but I haven't ever seen one -tho to be fair tma is only like the third horror thing I've ever really got into (the other two are the SCP Foundation in its various forms and Little Nightmares. Hence why I keep making reference to SCP it's really the only thing I know similar to this.) But he's such a cool concept!!? Like someTHING that still has a personality? He's so not human? Like I get what he says but also I don't really? Idk im pretty sure he's an avatar right? Right?? Idk if that means he was a person at some point? But all this to say that he is probably the most inhuman character I've come across so far and I'm trying to figure out what it is about him that's so "other" to me? Like... I don't really know what Micheal's deal is? he seems to want to be sort of a neutral mischief-maker but also it seems like he keeps getting invested. But also I just love the way he talks about himself. Like he's a monster that has a personality and is fully intelligent but isn't just evil but isn't neutral either and certainly isn't benevolent. Like he's so complex and just,,,, the idea of a "thing" that's got a personality?? I love it? Kind of like dryads or spirits of things? Like the idea that after a long time things gain personality just by existing? Not that that's what Michael is necessarily? but that same sort of concept applies to him I think. Like the way he IS the maze and wants to help but wants to just watch but wants to kill them all. He's just so interestinggggggg. (And another vision of what jon could become?)
also "es Mentiras" is a beautiful name 💕
So are him and not-Sasha avatars? Not-Sasha also seems completely inhuman and I was under the impression that avatars were (or used to be) human? Or are they like personifications of their power? Do all the powers have personifications of themselves. not-Sasha seems even less human than Michael? Like she seems to just really genuinely enjoy causing fear? Tho I guess we didn't really get to hear a lot of her. She just seemed kinda gleefully angry most of the time we heard from her. Was she... Human once!???
Anyway. Also, can I just talk about leitners line about jon belonging to the eye!!? Just..*chefs kiss* hnnnngg I need more jon grappling with that. I just need more everyone dealing with the fallout post all of the finallies ok? I still need more of jon angsting over his worms scars and stuff and now I also need jon freaking out about belonging to a fear god power thing.
Also Martin! Is Martin ok? He sure did a lot of yelling which he doesn't usually? Look I love him and he actually thinks before he acts (unlike SOME people *looks at jon*) and he writes poetry and it is pretty good poetry ok!! And he cares about everyone and just wants a happy ending and aaaaa😭
Petition to get some statements from Martin's pov tho? I mean that's not gonna happen cause Jon's the archivist but I want more martin pov!! Maybe we can get some of his poem tapes??? Pls?????
I feel so bad for Tim. It sounds like he's kinda fallen into despair.
Also Elias!!? Is showing his spooky side!!? He can control cameras and beat a man to death with a pipe!!? This is his "place of powerr"!!? I am afeared!!? At least jon knows he shouldn't trust him now. Oh jeez, I wonder if jon will listen back to the tape and know what happened. Thhhatsss rough. Oh dear, I hope he doesn't feel guilty cause Leitner did keep trying to hurry him and now everyone thinks it was him. Even martin thinks he did it? Wich like I kinda want to hear more of his thoughts on that? How much does he believe that jon did it? Tim certainly seems pretty certain but he's a bit biased and cynical right now so.
And they were in the maze for DAYS?
Now I need martin recovering from being stuck with Tim in Michaels maze for days being angry and worried and hungry etc... Dksjdksa knowing jon could be dying RIGHT NOW and there's nothing he can do. Please someone give me the fic links if this exists!! I've already written like 5 drabbles based entirely on spoilers/other fics (which I'll probably post (w/ links to their inspirations) once I'm caught up and can make sure I'm not just completely demolishing cannon lol.
Leitner didn't even scream or yell or anything when he was murdered. Literally the chillest dude ever. F
Overall super great, Elias is terrifying, let's dive into the next season!!! I've got 2 seasons to finish in like, less than 2 or so weeks(?) if I wana be caught up by season 5 hhhh,,,
Better get started I guess.

George x Hufflepuff! Reader / Kisses in the sun
Request: Hey I was wondering if you could do a George Weasley fanfic about a Hufflepuff who’s very awkward and tends to stumble on words, yet is outgoing if someone pushes them to do it. I tend to be very quiet and stuck in my own thought spiral most of the time and I get really random thoughts. I love chemistry (potions? I guess 😂) it comes really easy for me. I don’t have many friends but I love meeting new people. Thanks love xx. (from @hufflepuffseeker)
A/n Thank you for requesting, you’re so lovely and I’m exactly the same way with people 😂😊 plus I’m a Hufflepuff too so I loved writing this 💛 Turns out my phone managed to delete the ending and I couldn’t remember what I wrote but I still think the ending is alright. A/n
Word count: 3k+
Warnings: Bit of swearing.
The birds tweeted gleefully above you in the morning sun, you watched them fly from the castle out into the forest. Owls of every colour and breed flew past them and into the great hall to deliver the morning mail.
You sat by the lake, skipping stones on the rustling water attempting to shuffle your thoughts into concentration. Yet they drifted more, thinking of the students sitting down and having their breakfast, reading whatever drabble the daily prophet printed today.
You knew you should be there, joining them and hearing the latest news and gossip from your friends but you weren’t hungry, how could you be? Exams were in less than 2 weeks and you still had half of the syllable for charms and transfiguration to learn. At least you were comfortable with one subject; potions. Everyone thought it was a bit strange, a Hufflepuff excelling at potions but not Herbology. Ugh stereotypes.
You didn’t know what exactly drew you to the subject but you loved the thought of creating new things by hand, watching the cauldron sizzle and the colours change from neon green to blood red.
You laid on the grass staring up at the sky again, hoping for a spark of inspiration. Your eyes closed against the bright protruding sun. It was blinding even through your eyelids. You sighed in relief as a cloud must have eclipsed it. You opened your eyes hoping to watch the world rotate just a little more but someone was staring down at you. The boy’s presence made you jump into a sitting position, your heart failing with freight.
“I’m sorry love.” You looked up blinking through the bright sun to see George Weasley standing there not looking sorry at all. You got up slowly, brushing your legs rid off stray grass and mud.
“Damn it George, you nearly killed me.” He rolled his eyes at your melodramatics, earning him a playful smack on the arm.
You were blushing. George had noticed but he didn’t bring it up because he was pretty sure his cheeks had taken on a different colour as well and not just from the sun.
A sort of silence passed, the only interruptions being the sound of hooting owls flying back to the west tower. You raised your eyebrows at the mischievous twin in question but he didn’t read it and just smiled. “Well, what do you want?”
“Can I not just come see the best potion princess of Hufflepuff without need or want of anything?” George asked it so innocently that it made you giggle ever so slightly. But you knew what he was here for.
“I haven’t done it yet, okay? With exams and everything I’ve been busy.” You explained it as if you shouldn’t have had to. George just nodded in understanding.
Him and Fred had practically cornered you in the corridor last week. They asked if you would help them with something but they refused to mention the exact details. You were hesitant but after one look into George’s puppy dog eyes you were hypnotised and sold. They wanted you to make a potion with an exact list of specific ingredients and see the outcome. You’d barely had time to actually make the potions you were meant to let alone ones for silly pranks, which you heavily expected the concoction to be for.
“That’s alright.” George looked genuine in understanding unlike his twin who might have jokingly told you to ditch all the school crap and help them. You smiled gratefully towards him before sitting back down on the grass. Without any given invitation George joined you and although it was a distraction, it was a welcome one at that. “Hey, you know exams aren’t the end of the world.”
Your eyes roamed from where they had been admiring the sun’s reflection on the water to where George was sat. He was quite close to your side, his hand within reaching distance. “I know. I just want to do well and get a good job and have a successful life-“ Your words died in your quickly drying throat for George had just grabbed your hand.
“Just don’t stress okay? Nothing good can come of that and we don’t need any mental breakdowns if you’re gonna help us.”
“What is all this for anyway?” You had to ask. You were helping them and for all you knew they were using the potion in a plan to prank you. There was another moment’s silence before George answered.
“Okay I’ll tell you but you can’t breathe a word to anyone.” George looked hesitant, more so than you had ever seen him. “Me and Fred are gonna open a joke shop.” His eyes glittered with excitement. You couldn’t hide your surprise at the fact, it hadn’t been at all what you were expecting.
“Wow, that’s- that’s...” Your voice trailed away not being able to find the right string of words to place together.
“What? Do you hate the idea?” George looked hurt and you immediately stuttered in the rush to place the words.
“No! No! I think it’s amazing! It’s perfect actually.” You smiled reassuringly at George, who looked disbelieving. “Really George and I can’t believe you want me to help you with it. I’m honoured.” You put your hand over your heart in what you hoped was a humble way.
“Well yeah who else would we ask? Snape?” You laughed at his joke and tilted your head, shaking it at his humour. He joined in your laughter briefly before it faded. His eyes met yours and a silence, much different to earlier, passed between you. It was a silence full of tension and unsaid words, a tension that had been building for at least a year now.
You had been friends with George since second year when you’d been paired together for potions. He wasn’t happy about being parted from Fred after the both of them had caused a major spill on their table, the potion (incorrectly made) burning holes into the wood. George had marvelled at your growing potions talent. His own cauldron had melted into a puddle on the table as he watched you, Snape had just been about to deduct points or worse give him detention when you covered for him, saying it was your mistake. 10 points had been taken from Hufflepuff but Snape couldn’t give you any worse because you were one of his best students, a fact he hated.
Fred had quickly became your friend too, any time you spent with George was also spent with Fred. But your friendship was different, it was more of a brother-sister relationship than anything else as much as Fred liked to joke. George would typically tense at these jokes of romance between you and Fred but you were oblivious and so was Fred. That was until George made it clear to his brother why the jokes made him uncomfortable. They stopped soon after and were replaced with jokes instead about you and George ending up together. You stuttered and scoffed at them trying to hide your true desire to admit that all those jokes were your dream reality.
A year ago was when you knew you were in deep shit and that all of this was more than just a childhood crush. You were going through a rough time with your family but didn’t want to enclose any information to anyone. You expected George to try and pry it out of you but he didn’t. He didn’t even ask any more questions after you failed to tell him what was wrong. He just picked up your hand from across the table where you were eating dinner and smiled at you sweetly, the rest of your friends exchanging knowing smiles. Throughout that week he always made sure you were smiling and not thinking about whatever had got you down, his thought was that if you were ready and wanted to tell him whatever was wrong, you would.
On the Friday of that week as many people enjoyed the start of the weekend, you stayed in your room to read. George had knocked on the door an hour after you had begun delving into your newest book. You asked him what he was doing in the Hufflepuff common room, his response to which was a shrug and “I wanted to see you. Make sure you were okay.” He offered you a plate of stolen food from the kitchens and smiled that heart stopping, famous George Weasley smile.
“How did you get in here?” You had asked whilst placing your book down with no hope of reading it now anyways.
“Well, it’s not exactly hard. I watched someone else do the barrels and then followed that pattern.” He shrugged before starting to eat the cookies he had brought up.
All the tension built up from the week caused you to break, sobbing into his shoulder later that night. He still didn’t ask but you told him and at the end of your sobs he just wiped your tears away and held you until you fell asleep. That’s when you knew you had fallen pretty badly in love with George Weasley. You had no idea that night how much he wanted to kiss your troubles away.
And even now, you had your suspicions that George liked you in a different way than Fred but you weren’t prepared to wager money on it. Maybe you were just reading into it all because you wanted it to happen. But with the feeling of George’s hand in yours as you sat by the Great Lake with birds chirping in trees and a gentle wind washing over you, as you looked into his honey chocolate eyes, you couldn’t help but feel the cliched spark and you knew from the look in George’s eyes and the hot blush on his cheeks that he felt it too.
All talk of exams and joke shops were forgotten about. “(Y/n)?” His voice broke your trance away from his eyes and you were suddenly aware of how long you had been staring. Your head turned sharply away as you nodded in acknowledgment of his questioning voice. “Look at me.” You couldn’t help but obey his sweet playful voice, he squeezed your hand lightly as your head slowly turning to face his reddening one. “Do you trust me?” His voice was whispered like it was secret only to be shared with you.
“Yes of- of course I do.” You felt yourself trip over your whispered words and your mind gave a little internal scream. But George didn’t seem to notice as he inched closer to you, making your breath hitch and become uneasy with anticipation.
“Close your eyes.” His whole face seemed to soften with his voice and smile. You hesitated thinking of past experiences with pranks but this seemed different so after George nodded in a ‘trust-me’ sort of way, you once more obliged. Your eyes shut, a bit of brightness still evading through your eyelids. You barely had to wait a minute before you heard a deep intake of breath and then felt something warm on your lips. You felt your breath being held in your lungs as you realised George was kissing you. You had just managed to register the sweet taste before George was pulling away. Your face fell with dazed disappointment.
“I- I’m sorry.” You opened your eyes to see George had shuffled away a bit from where he was sitting. His hand was running through his hair, making it stick up in different directions. He looked guilty and angry with himself. You instantly reached out to re-link your hand with his.
George looked up with hope in his eyes at your movement. An unsure smile grew on his face as he witnessed your sweet one.
“Please don’t apologise. I- I really,” God what were you supposed to say when the boy you secretly loves kisses you? “I really liked it.” Your face was so unsure of your words that it made George laugh. The sound making you relax. “I’m sorry I’m not good with words and I don’t know what you’re supposed to say or how you’re meant to react when the boy you love kisses you out of the blue..” Your voice trailed off into the distance of time as George’s eyes widened. The wave of what you said washed over you like a flood of cold water. “I mean- I-“ you gave up with words as your mind shut down from shock.
“Hey.” George picked up your other hand from where it was flailing about in mid-air as you tried to find the words. He looked at you with the biggest smile on his face, making you return the shock. “If it helps,” he coughed nervously and looked away before bringing his eyes back to steadily meet yours. “I’m in love with you too.”
Your shoulders lowered, feeling a weight lift off of them and you breathed a sigh of relief, a large smile crossing your face. “Good.”
“Good? I profess my feelings for you and you say ‘good’?” George laughed at your playfully annoyed face, he released a hand from yours and brought it up to place over his heart dramatically. You hit it away with a smirk.
“Shut up.” You shook your head with chuckle of laughter before planting your lips firmly on George’s and kissing him properly. He immediately kissed back with a passion. His hands were suddenly travelling from your shoulders to your waist as he shuffled to a kneeling position. You raised your head to meet his lips, never wanting to part. Your hand went to his hair and pulled him closer to you until there was no space left between your bodies.
You pushed him down onto his back and he laughed into the kiss. His laughter still kept going as you pulled back for air, you joined in with a giggle as he played your own game and rolled you over so he was on top of you. He started to randomly tickle you, making your laughter louder until it turned into gasps as George kissed up and down your neck. It was hard to pull away but you had to, this wasn’t exactly the place for a passionate make-out session especially with students coming out of the great hall for classes.
George seemed to quickly catch on as to why you pulled back and sat up on the grass, straightening his tie and patting his messy hair down.
“Sorry love.” You smiled at the endearing pet name, it suddenly carried so much more meaning than before. You sat up yourself, pecking his lips quickly.
“Maybe we can resume it later?” You hoped you sounded as seductive as you had meant to come off as. You knew you did when George blinked dazedly at you and smirked. You ran a finger up and down his sleeved arm, giggling as he shivered.
“You are such a tease, you know that?” George narrowed his eyes at your shrug and got up, offering you a hand to do the same. He walked you to the library, his hand still laced with yours. “Need any help studying?”
“Um,” you bit your lip as you tried to find the words to say no sweetly but they weren’t needed as George began laughing and you realised he wasn’t at all serious.
“I’m just kidding. I would if you wanted me to but I don’t think I’d be much help.” He laughed in a self-deprecating sort of way and you reached up to peck him before smiling cutely at him.
“No, you go have fun.” You saw Fred wave a little way down the hallway towards you and George. He looked pleased at the sight of your hands still holding each other and smiled proudly. George gave one last squeeze of your hand before leaving to go and join his twin. Fred patted him on the back and winked at you before you entered the library to begin studying for charms.
“You told her?!” Fred sounded annoyed at his brother. George just shrugged and rolled his eyes, still admiring the bottle of potion he held his hands.
“She is my girlfriend, Freddie.” He smiled at where you sat across from him, blushing slightly at his words. Fred just rolled his eyes.
“Yes and that’s like the 50th time you’ve told me.” Fred said in a huff. George blushed but still looked proud of the fact he could call you his girlfriend.
“Hey! I did the potion for your first creation. I wouldn’t have done it to the best of my ability if George hadn’t told me what it was for and plus you can trust me.” You smiled as you rested your hand on George’s who knew he could already. Fred rolled his eyes again before settling with a smile and snatching the vial from George’s hands. He looked intensely at the purplish liquid.
“Fine. Welcome aboard to Fred’s marvellous creations.” He smiled cheerily without an outstretched hand, you rose your eyebrow at the name and saw George look at his brother in irritation.
“We are not naming it that!” George gestured aimlessly as Fred sighed irritably.
“Well what are we going to name it then? Fred Weasley’s jokes for wizards?” Fred seemed to be playing with the name at first but looked hopeful to George as he mulled it over in his head. George shook his head with a resounding ‘no’.
“What about Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes?” You inputed the idea helpfully as the random thought struck in your brain. Fred and George looked at you in surprise and thought over the name. Both of them trying it out on their lips.
The twins’ faces soon turned gleeful at you and you smiled. “I like that! Well done (y/n)! Hey George, your girlfriends smart!” Fred joked as he scribbled the name down after nudging George in the ribs, you sarcastically narrowed your eyes at his shocked tone as George continued smiling at you.
“I know.” George winked at you and your insides melted. He turned your hand over so he could hold it better and squeezed lovingly.
The second you saw the first box of their products not only housing part of your own creation but also your idea for their company name, you almost cried with pride for your boyfriend. George just hugged you tightly and you returned it. The same happened when you passed your exams with flying colours and George kept kissing you when all the compliments and adorations of pride and congratulations ran out.
You were both there to support one another and couldn’t be happier as you helped each other reach your respective dreams. He was one of the best things that ever happened to you.
